Premium Glaze Finish
Glazing is a technique that applies a thin color coating over the top of a base stain. The glaze is applied to the wood cabinet component, allowed to rest and then hand wiped off. The application of the glaze not only modifies the base stain color, but highlights the profile areas and variations in the wood. The true beauty of glazing is the result of combining each unique and individualized piece together into a complete design. Because the application of glaze is specific to door types, species and base stain color, Mid Continent Cabinetry offers this option on selected styles only, in the Signature and Norcraft Cabinetry Series.

Glaze Selection Tip
The art of glazing results in each piece being unique and individualized. When choosing glazing please understand that each cabinetry component will have a finish appearance that is slightly different from the next. Glazing over lighter stains will result in more noticeable variation than over darker base stain colors.*
